ဒီေျမေကာ္စက္ႀကီးကိုေတြ႔လားဗ်။ဒီဟာကမႏၱေလးမွာေရစီးေျမာင္းထဲကေဗဒါေတြကို႐ွင္းေနတဲ့ပံုပါ။ကန္ေဘာင္ေပၚပံုထားတဲ့ေဗဒါအထပ္လိုက္အပံုႀကီးဗ်ာ။က်ေနာ္ကိုင္ၾကည့္ခ်င္လိုက္တာ။အဲဒီေဗဒါအေျခာက္ေတြကိုသစ္ရြက္ေျခာက္ေတြနဲ႔ေရာၿပီးတကယ့္ေျမဩဇာေကာင္းေကာင္းလုပ္လို႔ရမွာဗ်။ဘိုကာ႐ွီပံုစံတမ်ိဳးမ်ိဳးနဲ႔ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ပိုေတာင္ေကာင္းသြားအံုးမွာ။
ေရစီးကိုပိတ္ေနေတာ့ဒီေဗဒါေတြကလည္း႐ွင္းမွကိုျဖစ္မွာေလဗ်ာ။ေရထဲမွာေျမဩဇာအတြက္အာဟာရပါဝင္မႈတပံုႀကီးနဲ႔ဆိုေတာ့ေဗဒါေတြကလည္းမ်ားမွမ်ား။ဒါေပမယ့္ဒီလိုကန္ထဲက႐ွင္းထုတ္ၿပီးပံုထားရံုကေတာ့ျမင္ရတာစိတ္မေကာင္းစရာေပါ့ဗ်ာ။ေဗဒါေတြစုပ္ယူထားတဲ့အာဟာရဓာတ္ေတြကိုေျမဆီအျဖစ္ေျပာင္းလဲေပးၿပီး၊ေျမႀကီးအတြက္ျပန္လည္အသံုးျပဳေပးသင့္တာေပါ့ဗ်ာ။
မၾကာေတာ့မယ့္ကာလမွာက်ေနာ္တို႔လုပ္ႏိုင္မယ္ေမွ်ာ္လင့္မိပါတယ္ဗ်ာ။
See this big digger? It’s clearing water hyacinths from a waterway in Mandalay. There are great piles of them lying on the bank, and we’d like to get our hands on them. They would make great soil, especially in combination with brown leaves. Even better with some form of bokashi involved.
These water hyacinths need clearing because they block waterways. And there are so many of them because of all the excess nutrients in the water. But it’s such a pity just to waste them like this. All those nutrients they’ve taken up could be converted to a great compost and given back to the soil.
