Here at FarmBiz in the leafier suburbs of Yangon there’s an urban farm. Villas on all sides and nothing the least rural about the landscape.
It’s actually a very cool place because it’s so unexpected. Everything here is chemical free. It’s beautiful. The plants are healthy as anything. (Remind me to tell you about their organic pesticide some day). They have a cafe/bar on the farm.
The farm is more than it seems; it’s also a showroom for what you can do with some unused land. An urban plot, like this, or an idle farm. There are lots of possibilities, more than we think, and these guys want to inspire others to think new and think chemical free. They even provide consulting services.
