Rosewood Yangon, elegance meets environmentalism
When the Rosewood opened its doors – and its fabulously restored interiors – at the end of 2019, the management had already taken a major decision about the future of the hotel: they were going to cut their trash right down to the limit.
The hotel approached us about their food waste, could we help them take care of it? Of course.
As of February 2020 all food waste, flowers, and other kitchen organic waste from the Rosewood is packed into bokashi barrels and sent for composting at our bokashi yard in North Dagon.
Easy for the hotel, and easy for us – but best of all, it’s really good to see a prestigious hotel such as the Rosewood doing the right thing and taking a stand for the environment.
