Group visit

Would your like to bring your community group, school class or colleagues to see what we do in our bokashi yard?

We love to receive visitors, and are happy to show you how we work and to talk about the environmental impact of organic waste here in Yangon. And of course, about the importance of building soil resilience for the future.

With school groups, we are happy to tell the story of how the food-soil-food loop works, and get the kids to see how real food tastes and how it grows. We adapt the biology story to suit the age of the students, but our approach is fun and hands on rather than classroom-serious.

As our time and resources are very limited, we are usually able to book in private groups and study visits on Monday and Tuesday afternoons – please contact us to see what times are free. We try to schedule school visits on Fridays, as we involve all our staff in this.

To make a booking or discuss a visit, please send us a message on our facebook page or via our contact page here.
And, much as we would like to, we are not able to receive unplanned visits.

Cost for group visits of up to 30 people/students, 1-2 hours.
Private groups (companies, NGOs, tourists): 90,000 ks per group
International and private schools: 50,000 ks per group (70,000 ks for up to 70 students – we will divide them into groups)
